CHALK TALK

Note: this article is in two parts; due to an unusually busy schedule and the nonstop breaking news regarding Jalen Hurts, I haven't been able to sit down and write for a little while. PART ONE: this was written AFTER the Jaguars game but BEFORE the news broke regarding Jalen's condition. You all know enough about the bad stuff (offense is terrible, just the third three game losing streak* of the Sirianni era, etc). I'm going to go through some of these negative talking point

I know a lot of Birds fans are feeling down about that Rams game, as am I, but to be frank I just can't get too bent out of shape over the result, considering the positively biblical plague of injuries that the Birds sustained: MISSED THE GAME Lane Johnson* Landon Dickerson* Devonta Smith Dallas Goedert Zach Baun* Marcus Epps MISSED MOST OF THE GAME Saquon Barkley* Quinyon Mitchell* MISSED SOME OF THE GAME Jonathan Greenard* Cooper DeJean* Tank Bigsby *starred players have ma

He's also won all five games after the bye since he's been here; clearly this staff does a good job with time to prepare. This win also run's Nick's record against the other NFC East teams to 22-11, including 9-3 against Washington. Stock down: the offensive line. Last year, the excuse
